Notice anything unique about this laundry room?  Even though it is actually quite small, the multi-use aspect it is what appeals to me—a work space, lots of folding, lots of good storage.   The laundry is often the afterthought in the home, but an efficiently designed laundry can be a wonderful thing—this is definitely a performance room –but does it need to be a room?  How about a closet with a stackable, or a large back entry that handles laundry, a pet sink, and a place to handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and recyclables?  How about an upstairs laundry instead?  Take a look at your spaces, your wasted closets, see what you can grab in terms of square footage and get ready for increased efficiency and pleasant chores!
