Kitchen Transformation

As soon as we stepped into this kitchen, ideas came flooding into our head to create a modern transformation that would meet all of the homeowner’s expectations. This kitchen had dark and outdated cabinets, however the cabinet boxes were in great shape. We knew we would be able to save the client money by refacing the cabinetry instead of doing a full kitchen renovation with new cabinetry. The client decided on a white gloss Level Acrylic door and we got to work removing the old doors and applying the refacing materials to the cabinets. In the upper cabinets, we replaced the wooden doors with frame doors and frosted glass to break up the white a little and give a more unique look. It also added more storage for the homeowners. We used low-profile handles that add minimal detail to the door to keep the modern theme.

A new Quartz countertop in Unique Calacatta and a backsplash done in a glazed tile that has a mirrored effect on the edges gave the kitchen that stark, bright, white, modern look. To finish this new look, we installed LED lights inside the tall cabinets, under the cabinets on the countertop, and the toe kick in the base cabinets. Now every time our client walks into their kitchen, it is bright, cheerful, clean, and ready to use! Fully stocked with storage options, functionality, and a stylish new design is exactly what we had in mind when we first stepped into this kitchen and we appreciate the opportunity to make it a reality.
