Tired of their classic kitchen design, a homeowner from Weston, Florida contacted our team at Kitchen Solver’s of Fort Lauderdale in search of an updated contemporary look. Upon visiting the home, our team found the existing cabinets to be in good condition and the layout to be efficient. Deciding on a cabinet reface was the best solution for this remodeling project. Installing maple Lowland-style doors in dove white while the island was done in light American walnut revived this kitchen giving it an instant facelift. Removing the unevenness of the island and making it one height, allowed for the homeowner to better utilize the space while implementing white quartz countertops enhanced the contemporary look. The previous backsplash was removed, and tile was installed. Finally, LED lighting was added under the cabinets and inside the glass doors to complement the white cabinetry. While the electrical outlets were removed and replaced by angle power strips under the cabinets giving a sleeker aesthetic to the backsplash.
