Kitchen of the Month Winner for New Cabinets for June

Kitchen Inspiration

This Tarpon Springs, Florida homeowner wanted to bring more function to their kitchen. Their current kitchen was a good size, but did not fit their needs and did not take advantage of all the space they could. By tearing down a couple of walls and shifting the kitchen into the existing eat-in space, Kitchen Solvers of Golf Coast was able to bring this customer’s kitchen dreams to life. Removing the main wall changed this L-shaped kitchen into a galley kitchen made up of one wall of cabinets and a large kitchen island. This layout created the perfect work triangle between the refrigerator, cooktop, and sink which will increase efficiency and functionality for this homeowner immediately.

Once the new layout was designed, it was time to pick out everything else. The customer wanted a new and bright look to go with their new open-concept space. For the new kitchen cabinets, they selected a Catalina door made of birch and painted white. For the kitchen island, they chose a dark, slate color to contrast. They chose a beautiful quartz countertop in Calacatta Gold and continued it up on to the backsplash for an elegant, smooth look. To pull out the gold flecking in the countertop even more, they chose gold accents for the cabinet hardware and a new sink faucet too. New appliances, light fixtures, and beautiful luxury vinyl plank flooring and this homeowners kitchen dreams came true with the help of Kitchen Solvers of Golf Shores.
