Kitchen of the Month Winner for Cabinet Refacing for August

Kitchen Transformation 

For this kitchen remodel, the homeowners wanted to give their kitchen a fresh new look. After we visited with the homeowners and found out their style and goal for the kitchen, we realized they were happy with their kitchen layout and functionality, but wanted an upgraded look. The cabinets were still in great condition, so cabinet refacing was the perfect solution for them. We met with them to start the process of picking out the door style and color, countertops, and backsplashes. After establishing the design, we were ready to start the installation. 

We started by removing all of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. After cleaning the cabinets, we applied the cabinet refacing material in a Pearl color for the perimeter cabinets and a Stone Gray color for the kitchen island. We added matching doors and drawer fronts done in the shaker style and maple wood. The two different colors created some dimension to the kitchen and gave the homeowners that duo-toned kitchen look they were aiming for. To finish the new look we installed a LG Viatera Quartz countertop in Cirrus and a 3” x 6” Light Gray Glossy Tile backsplash. Now this kitchen has the new look the homeowners were dreaming of.
