Kitchen Transformation

This homeowner in Galena, OH was looking for a huge transformation and we gave them just that! They were looking to open up the space, but generally liked the layout of their kitchen. In order to do that, we eliminated the desk space, which opened up the kitchen more and allowed us to make the counter all one height. This made room for a larger island with seating and also made the kitchen have a more open and spacious appearance.

After we opened up that space, we found the cabinet boxes were still in good condition and functional, so in order to transform them, we removed the doors and refaced the boxes in a pearl color. We attached matching Carter doors to finish off the look. The large kitchen island contrasts in a brownstone color and was complete when we added the large new Juparana pencil-edge granite countertop. A white subway tile backsplash was applied and the homeowners were ecstatic to see the transformation!
