Kitchen Remodeling in Powell, OH

We recently had Kitchen Solvers reface our kitchen cabinets and install a new backsplash, and we’re so pleased with the results! We felt welcomed and well taken care of during the whole process. Tracey Schrock was knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive throughout the planning process. She guided us through all the decisions and kept everything on track. Melinda did a wonderful job coordinating everything behind the scenes with her much appreciated communication. During the installation, she emailed us daily with updates and what to expect the following day. Everything was so well organized. David and Tyson did a great job with our cabinet installation. Both were skilled, professional, polite, and patient with my questions. They cleaned up each day, leaving our kitchen tidy and usable. Andy was also quick to come out and help resolve an unexpected issue with our home’s existing wiring, even though it wasn’t caused by their work. Alberto and his team did a beautiful job installing our backsplash. The attention to detail was impressive, and it’s one of my favorite parts of the kitchen. We’re very happy with our updated kitchen and the entire experience. I’d definitely recommend Kitchen Solvers!

Kitchen Solvers did a fantastic job on my partial kitchen remodel. They replaced and refaced cabinets, and installed new cabinet doors, drawer fronts and hardware. Tracey helped me choose colors, styles and materials to fit my budget. Melinda provided almost daily communication and updates for my job. The craftsmen, Noah and Valdez, were careful, knowledgeable, polite and neat. Noah, who was present for the entire project, was extremely precise, always on time, and cleaned up each day. All the work was finished in less than 5 days. As a very particular homeowner, I can honestly say that I have no complaints about the process or completed project. My kitchen looks about 20 years newer! I will definitely use this company again for future remodels!

The craftsmanship of the installation crew was top-tier: Alberto did an amazing job with the tile work. Cesar & Valdez were meticulous with the cabinet refacing and paid attention to every tiny detail. We also loved having access to their great showroom, as well as the convenience of personal home visits to look at selections in our own space. Outstanding service, reasonably priced, and a fantastic experience overall. Highly recommend Kitchen Solvers Columbus!

My wife and I recently had our kitchen remodel completed by the team at kitchen solvers. It was a total transformation and we are excited to enjoy it. Thank you to everyone there that worked on the kitchen and bathroom. Melinda kept us informed of the schedule the entire way through the process. She listen to our concerns and plans were developed to make sure concerns were taken care of throughout the process. Lastly she answered all my silly questions😀. Tracey worked with us on upgrades and fixing small things that come up during a remodel. Andy and Valdez, worked with the team to insure every detail was complete and went above and beyond to understand our concerns and come up with solutions. There were many other people that worked on our place, I wish I could remember all there names. The team did a great job! Thank you for the job well done.

Kitchen Solvers just completed a total remodel of our kitchen and did an outstanding job and we’re so happy with the final result!! We met Melinda Whitney and Brad Hulls at the Central Ohio Home and Garden show this past February (2026). We made an appointment and visited their showroom in March. Our daughter had a design in mind that she created and we took that and her with us when we visited. Tracey Schrock worked with us and the presented design and together a fntinished product was agreed to. My family is very happy with the outcome of our kitchen and bathroom cabinet refacing. The installation crews were great to work with, and the response to address minor issues was done expediently. I cannot say enough on how the final outcome of both the kitchen and bathrooms has made our house look so much better; it's just amazing! We highly recommend Kitchen Solvers as they go above and beyond your expectations.

We are absolutely thrilled with our total custom kitchen remodel. From the beginning, Tracey Schrock guided us through the entire process with incredible attention to detail. She was always available to address our questions and would even come to the job site at a moment's notice to resolve issues or deliver materials. Her motto was, "I just want you to be happy”, and we truly couldn’t be happier. My daughter and I will miss our weekly conversations with her now that the project is complete. We also want to recognize Esteban, who did a fantastic job with the installation. He took the time to ensure everything was done correctly and went above and beyond to make sure the final result was perfect. We highly recommend Kitchen Solvers to anyone looking for quality work and exceptional service. Jeannie

The kitchen turned out fantastic. We shopped around all our local options and are glad we went with Brad and the crew. Sheila was so helpful thru the whole process, even after we scrapped the first design. Andy the "master of all trades" was one of the kindest, hardest working, most intuitive people we've met. It was an awesome experience all the way around. We are so appreciative of the result. We love the kitchen!

Update 3/10/2026 I reached out to Brad Hulls at Kitchen Solvers when our beautiful and well loved kitchen suffered water damage last fall. Brad and the Kitchen Solvers team had remodeled our kitchen nearly eight years ago. We loved the look (timeless), and the way our kitchen worked for us, and had recommended Kitchen Solvers to many friends and neighbors over the years. After the flood, we faced restoration work, and after frustrating delays, and conversations from "restoration services" that said they could "come close" but actually left more damage in their wake, I stopped crying and decided to call Brad to see if he would be willing to take on this job. Brad came out quickly, took careful measurements, and said "I think we can fix this." Rather than offering "maybe" and "close match," he was able to rebuild and replace missing cabinets and trim strips with exact matches on the finish, while protecting what remained of our kitchen. Throughout the process, Melinda in the front office fielded numerous texts and questions from me promptly, with both precision and good humor, and kept me updated on all scheduling. Every person who came through our door during this process was highly skilled, on time, polite, professional, and respectful of our property. Our lead technician, Tannor, and the Kitchen Solvers team made everything fit seamlessly, updating and finishing everything so that it looks exactly like it what it looked like - and actually works better than - it did before disaster struck. Tannor took extra time at every step of the process to make sure everything was adjusted perfectly and looked great. He addressed every concern, and went above and beyond, finding replacement parts that I thought couldn't exist. If you are considering a kitchen makeover in these difficult times when parts availability and shipping issues are unavoidable, consider this: from start to finish, you truly cannot ask for more reliable, professional, and respectful humans to be working in your home every day. I am grateful that Brad was willing to take on this job, and delighted with the results. Thanks to Kitchen Solvers, we have gone from ruined wreck to a beautiful, fully functional kitchen. After years of frustration trying to resolve some design issues with my standard-issue 1990s kitchen, I did my research one more time, and was lucky enough to find the highly-reviewed Brad Hulls at Kitchen Solvers of Columbus. Brad took the time to listen to my kitchen needs/complaints, concerns, and ideas, and enthusiastically helped me brainstorm solutions that would modernize my kitchen and stay within my (Spartan) budget. He sketched out several ideas and showed me potential plusses and minuses of the changes I was considering. He was always respectful of me and my budget. Once the plans were finalized, Brad scheduled each phase of our project with respect to the process and my work schedule. Any kitchen remodel is a complicated process, and because it’s happening right where you live, while you live there, the people who will be working with you are as important as the materials they’re installing. Brad’s crew of contractors were singularly pleasant and professional. Every member of his team worked hard, and did careful, concise work while respecting my property and my over-friendly golden retriever. They all cleaned up at the close of each work day and took trash offsite. John Haywood, a master craftsman who did the resurfacing of our cabinets, did an exceptional job. The cupboards look like custom work. Brad’s advice was right on point, and helped me get the most “bang for my buck.” The kitchen looks great—we’ve stepped forward twenty years. The “small genius” changes we made in the layout have given me room for a “real” refrigerator and more work space, all with a custom look at a price below a low budget “big box” renovation that would have taken three times as long. If you’re considering a kitchen makeover, whether large or small, it will be well worth your time to talk to Kitchen Solvers of Columbus.

Paul and his crew from Kitchen Solvers did a great job renovating our master bath and half bath. Work was completed as quickly as possible with as little as possible disruption to our daily routine. They were consistent with a schedule, and we had daily communication concerning any issues that may have come about as the work continued, and what work was planned going forward each week which helped our personal daily schedules and appointments. They kept a clean work place which was more difficult due to winter weather and temperature concerns. All of the vendors used by Kitchen Solvers were professional in their workmanship during the renovation. Planning the project was easy and the staff at Kitchen Solvers were knowledgeable and helpful in selecting what changes we wanted to see.

Everyone at the Hilliard Kitchen Solvers location was excellent! Sheila and Brad with design and layout, Andy and Tannor with installation/refacing, and Melinda with communication and financial questions. With their guidance I was able to keep my countertops and backsplash (which I love) and not repaint anything! Also they were great at cleaning up at end of every work day. Would highly recommend.

Our Kitchen didn't work. The fridge was in the wrong place, the cabinets were too small, it needed help. It's a small space to begin with, so our kitchen needed to be solved to make the most of it. While visiting the Kitchen Solvers showroom, they quickly came up with a solution. Kitchen Solvers took down the old and put up a new funtional kitchen to last our new family for years to come. Not only did they work with us during the December holidays, they worked with us while having a new baby girl. She was just a couple days old when Kitchen Solvers started work on the kitchen, and they finished it a few weeks later before the new year. The kitchen is important to our family. It was important to us to have a kitchen that not only looks good, but functions too. Having Kitchen Solvers solve our kitchen, has transformed the way we use our kitchen.

I have just completed a total kitchen, hallway, and entry door project. I was very pleased with both the quality of the work and the selected items (i.e., cabinets, flooring, backsplash, doors, appliances). The employees and contractors were very good and easy to work with especially with two dogs trying to help. I really liked the support of selecting the different materials, which helped shorten the planning for this project. The scheduling of work and related communications were very much appreciated. You could not ask for a better support staff. This was a one time major expenditure and I learned a lot relative to extra and unanticipated costs, inconveniences of the use of kitchen and bathroom, as well as dust and dirt associated with demolition and rebuild. Anyone anticipating major remodeling should be aware of the latter, which Kitchen Solvers did communicate.

Date: January 8, 2026

The entire team at Kitchen Solvers were incredible to work with. Their office staff kept us abreast of the process and the anticipated timeline for installation and specific work completions. Tanner and Noah were very detailed and their perfectionism created a beautiful end product. We could not be happier!

Their work was excellent. They addressed our questions and concerns promptly. Melinda communicated with us at least weekly, often daily. We always knew who was coming out and what they would be working on that day. And we love our new kitchen and would recommend Kitchen Solvers to anyone who asks.

I just wanted to thank everyone at Kitchen Solvers for doing a great job with my kitchen update. I love the quartz backsplash that matches the countertops. The fellows that installed them both did a tremendous job. You can't see any of the seams and they gave good advice about putting in the new window sill to match. I love the shaker boards that were added to my island (just need to paint). Everyone that worked on the project did a fantastic job of installing, clean up and finishing. Thank you so much. I waited a long time to have my kitchen updated, I'm glad I found the right contractor to do it all!!

We recently used Kitchen Solvers (KS) for our kitchen renovation project which started mid November 2025. This was the first major house reno we'd ever undertaken and choosing the company to do it, turned out to be the most stressful part. We did our homework, read customer reviews etc. KS had many good ratings BUT we've heard how some places can skew their ratings by having friends / family write them as if actual customers so we were kinda skeptical at first... We're here to tell you that KS is the real deal!! Our entire experience was wonderful, from our initial showroom visit to the final touch-up appt. The entire process was conducted in a no-pressure, professional manner. Tracey was the showroom designer that worked with me to listen to the design/functional ideas we wanted for our kitchen. We kept our existing kitchen flooring so it was important that the coloring complimented the floor. She allowed all the time we needed to look at samplings of countertops, cabinet colors etc and we've received lots of compliments from family/friends on the final look of the new kitchen! Melinda served as our appointments coordinator. She communicated with us via either emails/calls to let us know who was coming and when. We could also connect with her on any questions we had. We got WEEKLY communications from her so we were always kept up to date on our project timeline. Our reno crew was Andy (project mgr) and Tannor. Corey also served a day on our project. The guys were great! They were timely, pleasant and professional and always cleaned up at the end of their work! In addition to KS doing the demo and installing our new cabinetry, KS contracts with partner companies that did our countertops, put in our new sink + disposal plus hooked them up to plumbing and installed new backsplash. We even had a surprise visit from Brad the owner about mid-way through our project! He popped in to see how things were progressing. We thought that was a nice touch! One of the things that was really important to us was that we wanted a place that would/could force accountability with their subcontract partners if we had issues with the work. Fortunately that wasn't the case for us. We read horror stories from customers who hired companies that used subcontractors which used subcontractors. Sometimes it was either next to impossible and/or it took a very long time for them to get resolution of their issues. Due to the timing of our project (during the holidays), it took a little longer than it probably would have at another time of year but it was worth it! We were officially done on 12/22/25. We considered this a Christmas present to ourselves! We would definitely recommend KS if a kitchen reno project is in your future!

Date: December 29, 2025

Kitchen Solvers just helped us with an update to our kitchen and half bath. Sheila and Brad were so helpful with our options. Andy and everyone who helped with the install were professional and really nice. Francisco, who did the tile work, was also very nice and such a craftsman! Through it all Melinda kept everything running smoothly by dealing with the scheduling and ordering. She was the absolute best! Melinda offered some of the most high level customer service that we have ever received. Over all a very positive experience and would definitely recommend.

I am so happy I went with Kitchen Solvers!
