When homeowners in Columbus, Ohio contact Kitchen Solvers of Columbus to give their closed-in kitchen a transformation from a traditional outdated look to a more modern look, they decided to make it more open, inviting, and airy. They refaced the existing cabinets with a shaker bevel door in a Haze color for the upper cabinets. To give the kitchen a duo-toned look, they refaced the lower cabinets in a Midnight color. Then new doors in the Shaker Bevel style were applied to the entire kitchen. They also replaced the dated countertops with a bright Cambria Quartz countertop in Portrush and a Motif II Sky Glass backsplash. 

The combination of the Haze and Midnight colors with the countertops and the backsplash give this space a completely new more modern look. To really complete the new stunning space, a wall that was separating the kitchen from the dining room was replaced with a half-wall, which not only opened up the space, but allowed for extra lighting. This duo-toned, very functional, and modern kitchen is now ready for cooking, entertaining, and just enjoying!
